  • Dense materials (sand, gravel) hit weight limits before volume limits - use shorter bags with high SWL
  • Light materials (flour, pellets) hit volume limits before weight limits - use taller bags for efficiency
  • Moderate density materials need balanced selection considering both factors

Required Volume = Target Weight ÷ Bulk Density

How to Calculate Your Ideal Bag Size
